Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services of SkyGuard Watsonville Roofer, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or website. We reserve the right to change these terms at any time, and your continued use of our services means you accept those changes.

Services Provided

SkyGuard Watsonville Roofer provides professional roofing services including but not limited to roof repair, roof replacement, roof installation, roof inspection, gutter installation and repair, and emergency roofing services. All services are subject to availability and scheduling. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

Service estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Final pricing may vary based on unforeseen conditions discovered during the work. We will notify you of any significant changes before proceeding with additional work.

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be outlined in your service agreement or invoice. Unless otherwise specified, payment is due upon completion of work. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. A deposit may be required for larger projects. If payment is not received within 30 days of invoice date, we reserve the right to charge interest at the maximum rate allowed by California law and pursue collection activities.

Warranties and Guarantees

We stand behind our work with warranties as specified in your service agreement. Manufacturer warranties on materials are passed through to you and vary by product. Our workmanship warranty covers the labor and installation for the period specified in your agreement. Warranties do not cover damage caused by severe weather, acts of nature, accidents, or improper maintenance.

To maintain warranty coverage, you must follow recommended maintenance schedules and notify us promptly of any issues. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing and will be addressed within a reasonable timeframe.

Liability and Insurance

SkyGuard Watsonville Roofer carries general liability insurance and workers compensation insurance as required by California law. We are not responsible for damage to landscaping, underground utilities, or other property unless caused by our negligence. You are responsible for ensuring clear access to your roof and removing valuable items from work areas.

Our liability is limited to the cost of services provided. We are not liable for consequential damages, lost profits, or indirect damages arising from our services. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee. For larger projects where materials have been ordered or work has begun, cancellation fees will be based on costs already incurred.

We reserve the right to reschedule work due to weather conditions, equipment failure, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you as soon as possible and work with you to find a new schedule that works for both parties.

Property Access and Safety

You grant us permission to access your property as needed to perform the agreed upon services. You are responsible for restraining pets and ensuring they do not interfere with our work. For your safety and ours, please keep children away from work areas. We will make reasonable efforts to protect your property during our work but are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or damage from causes beyond our control.

Permits and Compliance

When required, we will obtain necessary permits for roofing work. Permit fees are typically separate from the service cost unless otherwise specified in your agreement. All work will be performed in compliance with local building codes and regulations. You are responsible for disclosing any homeowners association rules or restrictions that may affect the work.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern about our services, please contact us directly so we can work to resolve the issue. Most problems can be solved through open communication. If we cannot reach a resolution, any disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of California and resolved in the courts of Santa Cruz County, California.
